the Chase Ward Trio

The Chase Ward Trio at its heart is a project dedicated to the art of storytelling and improvisation. Made up of three friends all with a shared passion for live performance, the trio makes sure that each show is different from the last. The Trio consists of Edmonton-born composer and Arranger, Simon Williams (Piano), and Victoria's very own Josh Warren (Bass) & Chase Ward (Drums). Playing a mixture of Latin, Brazilian and Straight Ahead Jazz, along with elements of contemporary Fusion, The Chase Ward Trio has a huge catalogue of original music draw from, ensuring an engaging and dynamic show each time.
