Take 5

Take 5 is a band from Victoria composed of high school students from Mount Douglas and Oak Bay Secondary. With a wide range of music, Take 5 is dedicated to bringing funk and soul music, together with other genres, to a wider range of people. The wonderful Cora Phillips on vocals brings exciting melodies to the music, while Madi Ninaber (guitar) and Ece Akar (keys) add funky chordal texture. Together with Aiden Fitzgerald on bass and Em Beilstein on drums holding down the groove, Take 5 creates music that has to be listened to. Take just five or ten minutes to listen.
