the Flora Scott Trio

  Jazz recording artist, guitarist, vocalist and composer Flora Scott performs with her Trio at Pagliaccis on March 14 at 9 pm. Joining her on acoustic bass is Joey Smith and Tony Genge on piano. You'll hear an upbeat repertoire of swing, latin and blues selections off her recordings.                                                 Although originally from Victoria Flora has spent the last several years in Vancouver playing with a trio or quintet at a variety of venues, clubs and restaurants.                                                                                        Her recordings have received some airplay and as well, her third recording "Eucalyptus" can be heard on Spotify. This release comprises an adventurous selection of compositions written by Scott and performed by numerous musicians from Vancouver, Victoria, England and Haida Gwaii.
