The Van Isle Chordless Quartet will feature some great musicians from around the island playing a mix of straight ahead jazz, funk, and bossa tunes. Our unique line up of Elijah Geddes on flute (coming all the way from Nanaimo!), Simeon Sanford Blades on Alto and Bari sax, Marlowe Peas on drums, and Leo Rysiew on bass leads to some awesome arranging opportunities as well as a sense of freedom that comes with chordless groups.
